Although I prefer 993's, I want this.

Needs supercharger and 9ff-esque bodykit.
But in reality, NP. That looks awesome.

Why didn't I know this was a thing?

I'm normally a bit warm on 996's...but with those tucked Turbo Twist wheels it looks really good.
Also...wouldn't you have to drop the engine just to change the plugs?

Seems like a good deal. Why is he selling?

No idea. I'm guessing he wants to do something new. He's always buying/selling new toys.

I love it and I would buy it, had my "five year plan" allowed me to, (I've got another two years before I can splurge on a interesting car).
Most people assume large displacement American V-8s are externally huge and also gas hogs. However reality suggests that a small displacement/high-revving engines suffer more pumping losses from the energy required to move air so quickly into/out of tiny cylinders .

I'd buy it and then swap - get this - a Porsche flat-six into it.

IMS failure that roached the engine out of warranty I assume?

He sold the motor while he was driving the car. Had this swap in mind from the start.

Not really. You still have to factor in heat and noise. Why do you think Tesla made the Model S?
