Saw these two Fords testing atop Lookout Mountain near Denver. Thanks to the quick slide-camera on my phone I was able to snap a few pics. Unfortunately I missed the best part, right after I put the phone back in my pocket a 3rd car turned onto the road about 300 feet back. It was the same as these two except it was a (OMG!) wagon. I freaked out a little, because it was a very good looking car.
Are these Ford Fusions? If so, does that mean we might be getting a wagon or are they maybe testing a Euro model?

They look very much like Ford Fusions, with UK plates. It's been a long time in coming over here, they delayed the release and are still selling the Ford Mondeo like mine.

It's probably high altitude testing for the euro model but fingers crossed we get the wagon.

Think those are Euro only headlights?
I quite like them.

We can hope it was a NA wagon.
I was out there recently, and thought...this is great car testing country, at least for the fair-weather stuff.
Anywho...

Companies are known for testing cars in other countries, it doesn't mean said countries will get them. I remember someone, I believe on LS1Tech, spotted a focus RS in Michigan with manufacturer plates, but obviously ford never gave us the focus RS

Its an SVT test car that tends to get a large number of requests for "evaluation drives". One of my friends had it earlier this week. Hang out around the Ford PD campus in Dearborn enough and you'll see it a few times a month, along with all sorts of other foreign market stuff Ford builds.
