Lamy safari? Yeah didn't you have the cap on? because I am pretty sure it would have left you an inky mess if it didn't! I pocket carry a safari every day and I have never had an issue.

Yup. It uncapped itself, partially because I usually have the cap clipped to the watch pocket. The mess wasn't too bad, just a blue spot in the pocket.

Does it still work? Probably feels weird, but I imagine the capillary action will still pull the ink to the tip. Nice pen, btw, I have the same one.

Yeah it works. It's now an italics nib somehow. It's scratchy, but the line variation is very nice compared to it when it wasn't bent.
Safaris are one of the best things value-for-money-wise that I've ever purchased. I feel like scoring another FP, although my interest is slightly waning.
