Wheeler Dealers taught me that TDC (Top Dead Center) in Italian is PMS.

Kinja'd!!!

So does that mean when my girl is raggin' I can just set her timing and she'll be back to running smoothly?

I wonder if she's supposed to be "advanced" or "retarded".

LOL!

I'd say your best bet is to put her into a seizure with some sort of quickly flashing light, then escape while you can!

What I don't get...

Why is the only PMS indicator is on the flywheel, gauged by a window in the bell housing.

Seriously, Lamborghini... no way to spot TDC/PMS with the transaxle not attached?

What about INSTALLING a flywheel? How do you verify that the flywheel is installed accurately, then? Do you have to do that with the heads off, and still try to gauge that by the transaxle casing?

Really... there should be a mark on the front of the crankshaft, and on the crank-shaft timing pulley. Messing with the flywheel and the transaxle to do a timing belt change is kind of ridiculous, there, Lamborghini.

But I have to give props to Edd China, he did a great job, as usual, and I am not usually one for punny jokes...

But "We finally have a Bull in the China shop." is a great line.

And the car is fantastic... especially in that color green.

Maybe the flywheel is keyed?

I would NEVER expect a low volume Italian car to make sense anyways, I mean, they can't even use the same type threads on both ends of the clutch master hydraulic line.

That was a pretty car, but they never mentioned the dent on the left rear corner that I saw in one shot before they pulled the car out of storage.
