When beige turns on beige...

I once witnessed a Camry T-bone an old 1st gen Rav4, at about 80km/h (50mph). It was one of the most horrific things I've ever seen. There were two fatalities, both in the Rav4, a mother and child. The Camry ended up well inside the passenger compartment of the Rav4, the roof completely collapsed on the passenger side, crushing the mother and child between the roof and the Camry. The driver of the Camry walked away, right into the police car when he was arrested for neg driving causing death.

Life lesson: If you want to live, Don't drive a 1st gen Rav4...

You guys have got it all wrong.

A Corolla has no real shot with any Lexus. It's slumdog millionare vs. a Supermodel. There's just no way. A Lexus doesn't have to settle for a 4 speed FWD on a has been platform. It's not gonna happen.

So, If you're a Corolla, and you got a boner for Lexuses(Lexi? Lexus'? Whatever...), what do you do? brutally violate the first one you see whether it wants it or not. That's what.

No. They both were able to walk away. I was surprised. The Lexus got hit square in the drivers door. But he was higher. It was an RX.

I mean it was minimal carnage. So I'm not scarred or anything. Mostly it just confirmed my assertion that people can't drive in Northern Virginia. To be honest it was a careless "fuck you my life is more important that the lights and the law" kind of accident. No excuse.

The Camry driver ran a red light at speed, he was still accelerating when he T-boned the other car. The Rav4 was turning across the intersection. This was about 5 years ago, the Camry was brand new.

Strangely enough, about a month ago, I witnessed another T-boning at that same intersection, an old 80 series Landcruiser hit the passenger side of a '90s Integra. The bullbar of the landcruiser was actually sticking out the drivers side door, having gone right through both passengers...

Well that's good to hear dude. I was right next to some small econo box on the freeway when traffic came to an abrupt stop. This datsun pickup wasn't paying attention and just slammed their rear. The sound of screeching tires and that horrible smack sound rattled me for a bit.

It looked like they might have been really hurt, but only men in both cars, no women or children luckily.
