A friend of mine just got his new 2014 Suzuka Gray RS 5 coupé, which he ordered several months ago, and stopped by PDX C&C with it on Saturday. The RS 5 is fairly well equipped with MMI navigation plus, Titanium Package and Sports exhaust system. Eventually, the RS 5 will adopt even more of a Stormtrooper look with wrapped side mirrors, suspension, spacers and an aftermarket exhaust setup. Below are some of the photos that were taken with a Sony RX100 and massaged with Lightroom.

Gorgeous car. I was admiring one at Audi of Tysons in VA when I was in to look at a used M5. Unfortunately the base A5 is more in my price range and it's just not quite quick enough. If the S5 gets a little cheaper used, perhaps!

Audi...you spelled "white" wrong. :P

Yeah, the prices on S5s have been holding relatively steady for a while now, most when contrasted to the TT RS (there's kind of a glut of them out here).

I hate that S5s refuse to drop in value.
the manual + V8 combo doesn't help my need for a cheap one. I have no honest desire for the V6 versions. Yea the engine is great and it performs better but...who cares. Its a DD. I want noise, and more noise and then just when its over I want it to backfire like only a V8 can and scare the pedestrians.

It's Suzuka Gray... in bright light, it looks white. In the shade or low light, the gray pops out. Sheesh! ;)

I hear ya and so glad that I picked up mine up with a V8 and a manual. Now, if all I cared was jack-rabbit starts and a pure GT, then the new 3.0 TFSI with the S Tronic gearbox would be a better fit.

How slow is the older 3.2? This is the only one within 200 miles of DC with a manual under $23K (about my budget for a fun car).

I think a 3.2 with a manual (not a common combo) is roughly a second slower than the S5 4.2 when it comes to 0-100 km/h. It doesn't quite pounce off the line like the A5 2.0T (particularly with an APR tune and AWE exhaust), but it's a smooth cruiser.

If you see Suzuka in person, you'll never mistake it for white.
There's a Suzuka Gray S5 in San Diego I've seen a handful of times.
