This one's probably my favorite one. Well, not counting the COPO Novas, of course, but I'm not sure they even count, as they weren't really sold as Drag Racing Specials, but overpowered fleet cars.

That's some crazy high-powered Ford Muscle right there!

Yeah, that car must've been a blast to own. If I had one, I'd drive it to college at least once, if only to see how the loud, rattling and hyperactive 427 would behave in traffic.
Here's another awesome image of it:

There was one at the Dream Cruise this year. I freaked when I saw it.

Glorious.
I'm enjoying the hell out of how loud my Montego became last week. I put on dual Flowmaster Super 44's. I've heard quieter big blocks, many quieter big blocks.
It's a 302 with a very mild build lol.

One does not mention drag-racing specials without mentioning the Cuda.

Let's not forget torque because TORQUE!
The tendency of a force to rotate an object about an axis, fulcrum, or pivot.

Dat idle... Oh god, the idle. That's exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned driving it in regular traffic at least once, if I owned one.

I'm jelly : p You guys in the US have all the luck, I think only three models were ver built in Brazil with V8 engines. Four, if you count the Simca Rallye, but that had like... 90 hp.

True, that's probably my favorite Cuda too, far less obvious than the more classic 1970 model. Also, Notchback:

Talk about luck I found a car that probably less than 500 are left on the road in it's configuration .... for $2500...
