You'd think that each student having to pay 35 bucks a semester would ensure that they have some somewhat half-decent, reliable servers, and that any problems would be fixed promptly. NOPE.

Yeah I was glad once I finished with having to use web assign. Sometimes it runs well but more often than not it is the bane of a students existence.

I have to put up with Blackboard.
and my college's own system which is often overloaded, and doesn't work from 11 PM to 3 AM, I understand the downtime, but sometimes you're awake finishing up homework, and you have to access the college's internal system.
