I had grand plans to rent a motorcycle today and make a run at Pike's Peak. Unfortunately, mother nature did not cooperate with that plan. Instead, I headed for high ground in a Sonata Hybrid (entertaining, but probably not Oppo Review worthy).
Not surprisingly, with all of the moisture in the atmosphere, it was 34*F and froggy/sleeting/graupeling at the top... That didn't stop me from spying the F&F 7 crew attempting to film... This Challenger, and a fleet of murdered out Mercedes were on the mountain. Three G-wagons, two S-classes, and what looked like a madmax Mercedes bus. Interesting, but it was difficult for them to shoot with all of the fog.
(Sonata Hybrid in the background.)
The sleet/graupel accumulated in some areas... The road was slick at the top !
One of the many switchbacks on the Pike's Peak Tollway.
UPDATE:
OK, so it looks like there are some fans of the Challenger... I had a few pics from my Nikon AW100 P&S as well. Here they are for your edutainment (pardon the Graupel, I can't fix Mother Nature):
Annnnnd, some video of the convoy...

I think I just found my dream car. For some strange reason, I find that Challenger extremely attractive with all those bells and whistles...

Wow, good sighting. That's a great drive, too bad it was so foggy. Messy weather out there it sounds like.
