I love chrome wrapped cars. I see it get bashed on here often, and I get it, but I don't care, I like them
WAIT BEFORE YOU REPLY AND CALL ME AN IDIOT!
Okay, let me defend myself, please. As many of you know, I love airplanes. I really need to post some more airplane stuff, but I generally only have time for quick posts. Some of the best airplanes in history look beautiful in bare aluminum.
Obviously, it doesn't work on just any car. And I probably wouldn't ever do it to my own car. But I don't hate it, and I think you should give it a chance too

I agree they can look nice, but I'd prefer if it was bare metal like the planes instead of a wrap. I guess you'd have to do a wrap for the bumpers though.

I saw this when I was in Munich. Fell instantly in love.

I'm not a big fan of regular chrome ( unless Rally Fighter ) but blue chrome can look amazing if done right.

I don't think it would look nearly as good, especially because of the nonmetal components, like you said. If you wrapped the bumper with a 'real metal' look, it would probably turn out more like primer grey, meaning cheap.

With the white, this isn't bad.

I don't think it works as well on the Bugatti. I'd rather have one with the carbon fiber exposed.

I'm pro-aluminum, but I'm not sure if I'm pro chrome. It was cool when it first came out, but I'm starting to think its played out.
