Welcome to One Car Garage, in which I choose a manufacturer, and you decide one single vehicle that they make or made (no matter how old, no matter how exclusive) to live with for the rest of your life. This is your only vehicle, and all expenses are paid for, including price of entry, insurance, gas, etc.
I’d been looking forward to getting to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for quite some time, and you guys definitely didn't disappoint. There were a ton of awesome choices posted last Friday. Today though, we’ll be making a trip back England to pick ourselves a Jaaaaaag.

As smart as it would probably be to choose a more contemporary, all-wheel-drive sedan, I find it incredibly difficult to look past some of the more classic and beautiful Jaaaaags of yesteryear. For that reason, I've decided to go with the 420G. The 420G was essentially just the Mark X with a little bit extra trim. It's rather beautiful, and I know it'll definitely be comfortable enough to use for all the driving I do between Southern and Northern Oregon, with room for the kids, whenever that time comes.

When I was 13, I had a little 1996 XK8 just like this. It was one of my first favorite cars, and still is.

For the record I'd go with the XJ220 in a heartbeat, but since that is taken I'll go with the CX-75
But since that is a concept and probably not applicable, I'll take a Mark 2 because class!

1994 Jaguar Chasseur 450 Tornado, because the XJ220 was taken and a XJ220S would just be too insane.

Jaguar Mk2 3.8. Hell, I will probably own one someday. It's basically perfect.

Yeah, I think this might be my choice as well. I don't know. The E-Type is still special to me, for some reason...

Series 1 XJ12. Beautiful in every way.

Give me an XK150 so I can ball in style. No need for a V12 or an E-Type.
Interestingly enough, the XK120 (direct original version of hte XK150) was the fastest production car in the world at 125ish mph. A good hard top and some engine work and I bet they could easily hold their own against any modern car for highway cruising.
Of course, this top speed record was because most Duesenbergs around that time weren't considered 'production'.

But it needs turbine power! And a V12 with 4WD!

Not to be a dink but that is a series 2. Still beautiful till you breathe upon it and things fall apart. SII also had the rare coupe...

I should have paid more attention to the grill.

I still have the same one, except in blue. Still one of my favorites. But if I could only have on jag, I'd probably take the coupe.

Does the Ford Transit XJ220 text mule count as a Jag?

A dark BRG 420g with a tan interior would be my first choice. A close second would be the Mark IX. In two tone black and grey.

Mark II. I just love these things....

No, it only had a 3.8 which makes about 220hp on a 3400lb car. It's a detuned version of the E-Type engine, so it shouldn't be too hard to switch out to the E-type parts for roughly 250hp.

F-Type Coupe V6S. Because it's coming. We know it, Jaguar knows it.
