Oh, the shame. A pox upon me, for surely it would be a better fate.

My dog and I picked up breakfast at Biscuitville and then went to eat at Starbucks this morning; 58 degrees, dog, and black coffee usually make for a fantastic morning. As we were driving out of the parking lot, three unbelievably immaculate '67 e-types pulled into the lot. I immediately pulled around the street and back into the lot to take a few photos and chat with the owners.

Unfortunately, when I got back into the parking lot it hit me: I left my phone at home so I wouldn't be bothered by it and could have a nice peaceful morning. I got out and gawked for a few minutes when I decided to go home and get the phone. Being only about 15 minute round trip I figured they would surely still be around and didn't bother to ask.

Alas, by the time I returned the cars were gone. Hugs and commiseration accepted.

I know the pain of not having a phone/camera when you really need it. That would have been a sweet post.

This happened to me last night on a smaller scale. I walked to picknsave and a beautiful delorean pulled into the lot in front of me... grabbed my phone to take a pic and my battery was too low to open the camera app....saddened by this I salked into the store...bought my beer and went back out only to see an Audi Coupe Gt Quattro pull out of the lot in front of me :/ I'm in milwaukee so thats not a common sight

I had one once in LA. We went to a taping of Craig Ferguson, and they tell you to leave your phone in the car so we did. On the walk back to the car a 458 and Aventador pulled up right in front of us. Go to my pocket for the phone, nope.

I know those cars are a dime a dozen in some places, but living in Kamsas I've seen 3 total Ferrari's over the past 6 years, and no Lamborghinis

Saw a Lambo near Park City the other day, and a Maserati by Town East last week, AND a nice looking Elise yesterday on Rock. I've only ever seen a Ferrari California in Wichita...must be the weather!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_Quat…

Its the American Audi Quattro. I probably mispoke in my phrasing since they made the "Audi coupe gt" which was not AWD and then the Audi quattro that only 650 sold. pretty much the same car however.
