This has to be the worst argument for moon landing conspiracy theories, ever

Ignore the subtitles. Occasionally, we all meet someone who did something that is so stupdifying that we ask ourselves, how on Earth can that person hold a job? How was he/she educated? This is one of those occasions.

Kaysing presents us the ultimate argument for his conspiracy theory, which will make holes in the ground, make the rivers fly to the sky, and cover deserts in icebergs while we're trying to understand how someone like him was actually accepted to work at Rocketdyne to do anything else than cleaning toilets. Reading about him in Wikipedia tells me that he had no knowledge of what he had been hired to do (i.e. technical writing), so I'm not surprised if he never attended a single Physics class in his life. Which is exactly how ignorant one needs to be, if one defends that the moon landings were faked because the sound of the engine cannot be heard in the recordings .

The sound of the engine can't be heard.
The sound of the engine can't be heard.
The sound of the engine can't be heard.

So there is it. I'm afraid I lost IQ points by viewing the doc above. I believe that even a fourth grader kid could tell that the presence of engine sound in the moon landing recording would actually be a sign that the recording was faked (or, at the least, edited), but hey, I'm a college sophomore, not a former Rocketdyne worker.

I once flew with a flight instructor who thought the moon landing was hoaxed... As if there was only one mission. Did he forget about the subsequent moon landings? Of all the people to think it's not possible, a pilot? It's probably because he's Danish, and he's butthurt about America's accomplishment. Needless to say, I never went near that guy ever again.

I don't think it has anything to do with nationality, it's widely considered to be a human (as opposed to American ) achievement or, if much, a Western achievement. Most moon landing denialists are in fact American. IMO it has more to do with politics. Same for Holocaust denialism, birthers and in some cases 9/11 truthers.

Conspiracy Guy has his mind made up. Don't waste your brainwashed breath on him with mere facts.

Agreed. As a side note, have you ever seen Buzz punch that guy that confronted him? Buzz is the man!

And a rapper!

And a former SAAB owner. Yup, I'm a Buzz fan.

Yeah I had heard of that story, but it does become more awesome actually seeing the man punching him.

You can be really smart and still batshit crazy. A co-worker holds degrees from multiple prestigious universities and has some interesting views on evolution.

Which is why I don't believe in a correlation between studies and intelligence.
