Ban, calling this a super car is like calling a Camry a sports sedan.

Sub-7 minute Ring Time says, it doesn't care what you call it.

The Camry is grounded to the ground. It's a sports sedan.

Welp, can't argue with that logic.

Sub 7 minute ring times says, calling it a super car is an insult.

Road-legal track car.

*also a car I would absolutely DD. Along with the KTM XBow and the Lotus Exige S V6 Cup.

Let's set a couple of things straight: I like the SR8. It's got a Hayabusa V8, developed by Radical. That's awesome. It is a road legal LeMans prototype. That's awesome. But it's not a supercar. It wasn't designed with the street in mind at all. It just happens to have lights, so they put blinkers on it and called it good. No emissions. No ground clearance. It has metal bars right next to your head, which means that, unless you are a complete moron with a death wish, you need to wear a helmet in it on the street. I don't know how many hours you can drive it before doing maintenance, but I'm guessing it's not many.

Again, I like it. It just isn't a road car in anything except technicality.
