I might be coming to visit. Although I wish it was under better circumstances.
Stay safe, my friends.
Edit: Officially leaving in the morning for Denver.

Bring beer, please. A lot of our good breweries are underwater right now

the GOOD ones are? :P

hi! when? why? are the bad circumstances our weather or the reason for your trip?

I don't think it would hurt many peoples feelings if the AB plant went underwater.

Well bad ones too, but they don't really count. Also everyone's overstocked on Coors products as it is, there's not going to be any shortage there.

If I was on the team driving, I'd be more than happy to bring some of the PNW's best brews. However, I would be flying (still not 100% on if/when I'd be coming).

I guess more rain is forecast for tonight. I live in Southern Colorado where we have had heavy rains, but minor street flooding.

Possibly tomorrow. Yes, the bad weather. Emergency Management is fun!

Where would you be heading to? Boulder-ish I would fathom?
If so, please tell Hwy 7 that I miss her already

oh, well thanks for coming out to help I suppose then :)
seems unlikely that we should plan some sort of oppo get together then given your reasoning for coming, its not like you'll be rolling out in a classic Porsche 911 or anything :P

No idea, but I assume Denver area near the Regional office. I'll be out with the command staff, some co-workers will be out in the shit with our vehicles.

More rain tonight, tomorrow, Sunday, and possibly Monday for some of the more damaged areas (Boulder, Lyons).
I'm getting pummeled with precipitation as well (SW Adams County) but not NEARLY as bad as Boulder Co. The pictures people have been posting have been, just horrendous.

No, no 911. They still haven't approved my purchase request for one. I called it a "high speed special communications vehicle". No dice.

Enough already! This has helped our drought although it isn't getting us completely out of it. It's just unreal and so sad. We lucked out where I live last night and only got a half an inch.

lol, I work for an oil company doing real time remote wellsite monitoring, I submitted an expense for a high speed wellsite issue investigation vehicle, similarly not-approved

I drove this stretch of 7 Sunday night. That's fresh pavement on one of the more fun twisty roads up here. I am saddened (also Estes Park is mostly cut off from the rest of the world right now)

That is frightening!! I'm counting my blessings that we've had nothing that devastating.

I'm not going to post them, but some of the pictures I've been sent are truly horrific. I'm thankful that the damage and casualties have been kept low, due to awareness, the early warnings and people actually looking out for each other.
This is definitely the worst flooding I've seen since being in this state.

I appreciate you not posting horrific pictures. Thank you. Yes, it's the worst flooding I've seen here too.

I've been working in Hawaii. Heading home Saturday night. Hopefully our latest disaster will subside soon.
