Maybe I'm nuts for saying this, but I think the 6-Series Gran Coupe is a great-looking car. Yes, the name is ridiculous, but it's kind of stunning in person.

I'd agree with that. I feel like with the 6 series range the pictures don't do the car justice. The width and stance are what define the car (and WEIGHT). Nevertheless, the M6 Gran Coupe sans tune would be a phenomenal long distance car.
