Inspired by today's Morning Shift, what is the average fuel economy rating ( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) for all the vehicles you currently own? Between the E24 (17), the Civic (31), and the W124 (18), my average is 22 . Hmm.

im game.
so 13+34/2 = 23.5 mpg.

The e30 gets 18, apparently, and the mazda3 gets 25 (though I tend to average 30 mpg) so a combined 21.5 according to the EPA. Realistically my average is 30 mpg because the e30 is quite stationary.

It's a shame it only goes back to 1984. This is the closest I'll get to my '70 142..
I could find the car I used to have when I drove to school though:
It was a 4x4 though, so it was slightly worse..

23! My commuting (and thus most my miles) are in the oil-burner, though, so the real-world average is quite a bit higher.
I sure do a good job at hitting both ends of the MPG spectrum though!

Sure, I'll play
And an '82 Yamaha XV750 which gets about 40 avg on fuelly
So I'm at 24.5MPG (cars)
and 29.66...7 (fleet)

Ouch. It's still better than a Countach though!

The Uz100 only got 1 better highway mpg? Really? I thought it was better than that.

You learn something new every day! That, and it's still horrible regardless...

what do you actually average though?

Two vehicles in my fleet other than the Benz: one pre-EPA and not running and the other just pre EPA are allegedly ~15 and ~26+. Averaged with the Benz, ~22 or so.

Looks like my household average is around 30.625 MPG.
The Soul is mine, and the Second lowest for MPG

...but when I add in my wife's car...
23.66!! HA!

Eh, probably right around that.

good to know, I keep wondering if i made the right choice on the 80 seeing as how its more a commuter car than anything and the uz100 would probably serve my offroad needs just as well. Then I remember articulation and lockers and i don't feel so bad.

I got 15.9 combined, but that's a little high because my Suburban is actually the 454 not the 350, my Silverado is a 2500 not a 1500, and my '70 VW bus (which gets surprisingly awful mileage) isn't included.

I think I've got lowest combined in the bag

Rough estimates for a few:
'69 Torino GT (351W 4bbl): 10 mpg
'80 Mustang Cobra (302 4bbl, Holley 650, Edelbrock performer intake and cam): 10 mpg (12 gal tank, max ~150 miles)
'82 Mustang GT (Built 347, MPEFI): 8 mpg
'89 Integra LS:
'07 Mazdaspeed6 (Tune + CAI):
'08 Mustang GT
Average
15 mpg
Shit.
