YES! WOOOOO! Now they need to aim at Lenovo and just push. I have not always been a fan of Dell but they have been making a lot of great product since 2010. I hoped that this would happen.

Glad to see it's finally done. Just like Ford and GM, a ton of great stuff happens inside their halls and never sees the light of day. Maybe this will start to change.

I had a dell laptop in 04, thing kicked ass. i used it for a solid 4 years and only stopped after taking a fall with it on roller blades on my college campus...damn sidewalks...
Even now it still powers up and can run Adobe Creative suite 5 on it. Impressive. Only reason I have a gateway now is due to $$

On the consumer side Dell has had some great hits and great misses, but the business side for a long time was mediocre and failure prone. I have support mostly Dells in my career in IT including in the Navy and since 2010 they have been solid. I had a Dell desktop in 06 and it was great, it still runs at my friends house as a firewall.

Nice, I always liked the original business model of Dell.
Hey what do you want?
OK we'll build it and send it out. See you in a week!

Slightly surprising? This has been in the news for months. Just been waiting for the announcement.
