Everything has a +, I assume that's rather impressive

It is, good to hear from the back end too when warranty repairs are WAY down (thanks to Ford being gone, Mazda can actually build a quality car!) so that means more metal on the road to sell maintenance items and accessories and the like to. More money in my pocket. Hopefully.

a couple things I see:
1. the unchanged cx9 doing 9% better is reflective of the industry wide trend, more than the other numbers.
2. The total gains were due mostly to the new 6, the updated (bigger engined) cx5
Still great. Good Job Mazda on making a very attractive product line.

I love rooting for the little guy.
Especially when they make us such fun cars.

The CX-9's been refreshed for 2013. But yes, the market has been steadily heading toward the three-row CUV market.
Can't wait to see how the new 3 does.

From these numbers, we can speculate Mazda is doing reasonably well in expanding customer base, as they likely are not selling 1/3 cars to a Mazda owner who already has 3. Unlike anyone selling a Fiero.

That many people have terrible taste in cars?
I hope it increases your sales though.

We have been busy.
Mazda's not so bad. I'd buy a 3 for the SKYACTIV fuel economy. And the handling. Not much else really appeals to me about them. Except when they break and make me money.

Or at least recapturing former customers who left, or capturing people upgrading from a small Mazda who previously went elsewhere when they needed a larger vehicle.
