Aww, RIP indeed. He still starred in his own commercials this past year or so... though I'd say he wasn't as elaborate with animals.

Yeah, I was at the SD Auto Museum a few years back and they had a commercial from the 70s with him in it. I had no idea he had been around so long until then.

Me too! I didn't even know he had such elaborate animal commercials until semi-recently. The only commercials I had seen him in, that was on TV, only had him talking.
