Has anyone ever seen a camo'd prototype or a test mule or whatever and seriously thought "If I had enough money, I would totally rear end that thing just for an excuse to take a closer look."

I dunno, is it worth it to shunt a beater car into a test mule? Unless you can risk putting a ding on your insurance and driving abstract.....

How does insurance work for that, anyway? Like... What do they do when the car you hit is -3 years old and technically doesn't exist?
