Have you ever ridden a Buel? Which is basically a Sportster, actually do handle.

How are these motorcycles for comfortability? It looks like it has the seating position and pegs of a cruiser, yet the handlebars are as low as a sportbike. Having both your arms and legs completely outstretched does not look comfortable.

After 2004, when they redesigned the frame, they handle as good as any Jap, Italian, or whatever bike. Maybe down on power compared to some competitors, but it will go through twisties with the best. If you ain't rode one, do not bad mouth. And no 3 gear downshifts, because torque.

Never sat on one but I share your opinion about the ergonomics.

They are more of a sportbike than a distance cruiser. I have owned several over the years, but my go to for trips was always the FLHTCU. I like cruise control and radio and a windshield and storage space. Leaving on a trip to AZ Wednesday.

hang on, and look at THIS sportster...the ass is lowered but the front is still high... it doesn't handle as good as a regular sportster ,

Agree, but to blanket Sportsters with that statement is not fair.

if you think a sportster can handle like a GSXR , I have my doubts...
