I found this great little documentary today about the 1992 Hooters 500, the final race of the season. Going into the race, six drivers had a mathematical chance at the championship with three of those having a good chance at it. King Richard Petty was entering his final race. Perennial mid-pack racer Rick Mast shocked the NASCAR world by winning his first pole. Some kid from the Busch Series named Jeff Gordon was making his Cup Series debut. All of these storylines played out over the next 500 miles of great racing.
