Pretty long video but some great noises. Shot with a point and shoot so it isn't top quality at all. sorry for any annoying shake. I have one more video that isn't as exciting and about 200 photos to share in the next couple days

Watching the video doesn't even seem to do it the justice of how damn loud it was right there.

I agree, nothing is nearly as loud a race car from about 10 feet away. . .

Saw most of those guys last week at Lime Rock. It was amazing. I was crewing for a friend in the run group after the Trans Am cars, so we were in the false grid as they came ripping by. The other guy I was crewing with and I couldn't wipe the stupid grins off our faces.

I was grinning like an idiot all day, I loved it. Between the 2000gt backfiring everywhere to hearing a gulf livery gt40 rip up the hill earlier. Among many many other things this was amazing. I can't wait to go to the track tomorrow to see them race. I think there are more cars up there as well.

Its like I can still smell that 100-112 octane fuel that give off that special scent just by watching this. Dat Posey Challenger...
Those Trans Am Cars were fucking insane on the track at The Glen just their cornering and straightaway speeds and seriously fighting each other.

So much fun. We keep saying we should do the Glen, but every year, we just do LRP and school starts and things get busy at work, blah blah blah...
We saw the GT40 in the paddock, but never driven in anger. I meant to ask what chassis it was, but forgot to.
Have fun tomorrow!

That Challenger was insane! I didn't get to see any on the track. I will be there tomorrow to see them though, I can't wait. And yes that smell of high octane fuel in the air of downtown was a wonderful thing
