Pre facelift mk1 ('84-'88) Renault Espace minivan. No idea what the decals mean though.

The Espace is a very, very rare car over here (still doesn't make it special, of course). This one is actually very well kept against all others (by all others I mean three) I've seen. I really wonder about the decals.

I wonder if anyone has ever imported a Renault Espace to Canada/USA yet. If you have to have a minivan for your family, it'd be much cooler to have a unique one.

Whatever it is, it needs to be burned to the ground.

But it is terrible with reliability...
They in the top 5 of cars with worst reliability..

Well not all people have reliability as their top concern when choosing a family car - see Land Rover owners. The uniqueness of it in Canada/USA can't really be valued.

Well... although it looks like a 1st gen Renault Espace, it's far from it. This is a Grancar Futura, produced by Grancar Design in 1990.
Here's a link with detailed info (in portuguese) about it: http://quatrorodas.abril.com.br/classicos/bras…
