Yeah I saw that, looks like he discovered Oppo since I mentioned it in a reply to him. I think he realized he wasn't going to get anywhere though and went and did something else.
I "stopped" (I still sometimes read single articles on there) reading Kotaku about six months ago or so, actually. I've seen plenty of idiots like that guy before, I wasn't referring to him specifically. In fact, it reminds me a lot of when I was a bit younger playing games like Halo 3 and Call of Duty on Xbox Live. Kids like that were why I never, ever used the voice chat (or responded to PMs). It also reminds me a lot of Youtube comment sections... *Shudder*

Ah, I see. Still, this guy's deliberately typing gibberish - I don't see how everyone made as big of a deal about it as they did. It's nowhere near as frustrating as the 9-year-olds on Xbox LIVE that are left behind when all of the gamers on the blockbuster hype train move on to the next CoD , Halo , etc.
I've noticed that Kotaku , from my perspective, seems to have gone down the tubes since the Xbox One's reveal. I'm hoping to try to get more into video games/animes (I generally like to stick with certain ones for a long time before looking at other franchises), so maybe I'll get more out of it if I can engage in more meaningful discussions there someday.

I hear that most of the "old guard" on Kotaku have gradually moved to Polygon over the years, so it might be worth checking out.
Fun fact: Apparently, posting links to Kotaku on many gaming forums (including NeoGAF and Destructoid) is either a bannable offense or blocked (unless for comedic purposes, or at least that's how it works on Destructoid).
