Found Around UMD Part 2: 2013 Tesla Model S P85

The fall semester has begun, which means !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! opportunities to take pics of anything that catches my eye. I saw this red Model S (the Performance version of the 85 kW model, at that) charging here, so I took some pics of it since this was my first opportunity to approach one up close.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

The Tesla was a nice surprise when Volts and Leaves are the plug-in vehicles that I see out-and-about or at the charging stations (aside from the Miles ZX40ST electric work trucks).

I decided to finally try out my phone's warm and cool filters as well.

I also saw a black 2014 Corolla S drive by on my way back from class - I thought it looked alright, though the car's black front bumper insert (which I'm not particularly keen on) was hid somewhat by the color.

It seems weird to me that where I am, most of the Model S' that are sold are P85s.

There's also a black Tesla that parks on top of the Union Garage. License plate ALL ELC. I wonder who owns them, engineering professors, deans or wealthy sports coaches?

This is a shot in the dark, but do you remember if that Model S has DC Plates, '202'. If so, it's my old boss' from Potomac, who's a big UMD Donor.

This red Model S, you mean? The fall semester starts after next week, so I can certainly check - the car's almost always parked in one of those charging spots.

I took these pics before I figured out that I could just use the Retouch tool in iPhoto to blur stuff out, so I focused on side- and quarter-views.

Hah, I noticed after I posted that the original post was over a year old.

My old boss has a red Model S, a new black RS7, a 2007 Continental Super Speed, and a Camry Hybrid (it's a long story but he bought it to make his niece hate him less).

I know that it’s been 2 and a half years since you posted this comment, but I’ve been on the lookout for that ALL ELC Tesla and I finally saw it; I was watching cars pass by from the second floor of a building and saw it drive by. It’s nice to know that it really does exist, LOL.
