Did a small photoshoot on my Volvo 142 this weekend. Wasn't my camera so that's why the date is shown, but it doesn't matter much. It's mostly so it's easier for me to remember what it looked like the summer of 2013, and why not share it with you guys!

Ah, my favorite Volvo !
I'm not sure about it being a '70 though, the grille looks it belong to an older model and it has the updated interior with the central console, "short" throw shifter and headrests.
I might be wrong too.

You're just a bit confused. The grille is original (lots of 70's with this grille).The shifter are the long one and the center console isn't the updated one. You're right about the seats though, they are from a 242. I want to replace them with original 142 seats but with headrests for safety reasons.

Huh, you're right, I didn't look at the shifter enough and I thought it had the central console due to the contrast between the plastic and the yellow carpeting.
I own a '71 with the plastic grille (with the optionals "long range lights") and it has the same interior styling (except from the seats and the steering wheel).

Sweet. I rather like the old 142s. Volvo box, but delicate styling too.
