Here's a flame shield. Knowing some of the folks around here, you'll need it.

But I'm on the same boat with you. TG US has definably been improving.

But it's not as good as the UK Top Gear. The challenges are just lame re-hashes of prior stunts done better by the boys in Britain. Tanner, Wood and/or Adam suck. Etc. etc. etc.. ;)

In before everyone else..

I'm excited! It's not the same as Top Gear UK nor is it meant to be. Also it took several seasons before tg uk became what it is today.

Also some of my fave things are old car challenges.

Yes, they aren't as good as UK. Mainly they don't have that bond with a hometrack they use for any stunt. And I can't stand the celebrity guests.
BUT: They have used car challenges! Something TG UK is missing for many episodes now.

Love it. Of course it's not as good as the original, but I don't care. Getting them fully out of the studio was a great move. The interviews felt forced and were my least favorite part of the show anyway. They are coming up with some great ideas, some obviously from TG UK but others very much original. And their chemistry is improving steadily. Can't wait to see the new season.
