CP, CP, CP.
Generally awful car, the one in the ad has a rubbish engine and a lot of miles for such a vehicle. If you're a girl then it's pretty cute.

Given the year 100k miles isn't bad. Also, I am well aware of the 138hp it makes. Also, for under 10k, this is one of the nicest looking lightweight rwd cars you can buy.

Definitely CP. I paid $6k for a 1999 Z3 with a 2.5L six cylinder and 100k miles. I've spent about $2500 in repairs over the last two years.

I misread the kilometers for miles, so it's not so bad.
I'm in the UK and you can get the same thing for about $2400 canadian. If i was in the market for that type of vehicle, it would be Honda S2000 all day.

Too bad a similar shape s2000 is about $15,000. Nice car, but not that nice.

What were the repairs?

- new AC compressor (AC still doesn't work, so I'll likely be installing a new expansion valve soon)
- valve cover gasket replacement
- new power steering fluid reservoir
- new alternator (power steering fluid leaked into the alternator and killed it)
- new belts
- new water pump
One of the climate control knobs is broken (a very common Z3 problem), and I still haven't managed to repair it after several attempts. Working behind the dash in't easy.
I also misread the mileage for the car at your link. I still think the price is high, but it's slightly more reasonable.

Definite crack pipe.
