Don't know what else has or hasn't been swapped (like the transmission?) But I'd be hesitant n try to get him down more. I'd give him 12.5 if he can guarantee everything will work six months from now and that's the fanboy in me adding another $800 or so.

Have you alluded to the fact you are a car person? I axe because they can and have held the price high when we know what we're looking at ...it'd just be a shame if some lil snot's dad got this for him at a good price. With the trans it sounds like the previous owner least respected what he was doing. Not a dime over $13k
