Purty great so far. It's damn nice in the corners and actually decently comfortable. At least two inches lower than stock. Getting in and out sucks, and so does buckling in (I thread the belt through the adjacent hole, send it upwards, then do a U-turn into the receptacle, so the seatbelt remains effective and stuff).
In other news, I ran over an old carcass last night and a bone shard punctured the driverside-rear tire. Too close to the sidewall to patch properly, so new shoes are in order. I might just take the plunge to 15" wheels now to multiply my tire selection by about a million.

Not for DD'ing. Also, roll bar then harness, in that order.

Just go Dunlop Direzza Z2s. You won't be sorry.

just saying , that seat's not built to work with a stock belt , and the belt will not work properly with that seat . Just be careful , don't want you to get hurt .

Wow, all the times I've heard the list of options and these were never brought up. They look grippy as hell. I bet their lifespan is low though. Do you run them?
Daisies are really light too so I'm in no rush to get rid of them.

Well that's why I do the goofy buckling-in ritual; it makes the belt nice and snug across my lap. Nothing about the setup feels janky.

I don't run them as it snows over here in VA. Eventually, I will go with a set of them if I get new wheels. Longevity isn't that great, but that's the price you pay for grip.

roll bar should come after the harness.

Why do you say that?
Think what happens if you roll over without a bar but are harnessed to your seat.

I have a friend who was asked why his Z32 doesn't have a roll cage considering it sees lots of track time. He replied that he also drives it often on the street (he has two cars, the 2nd being a street-only miata, ha) it would be unsafe since he'd be driving his Z32 without a helmet on the street and in a serious accident if he were to bump his head on the roll bar he'd suffer head injuries.
It's highly unlikely your car will roll over, especially a Miata, but considering you daily drive your car, you ought not to get a roll cage. In the case of your car rolling over, you're more likely to slide out of your seat and end up with an injury where you may hit your head on a roll bar. If you feel like your head is too close to the roof of your car then disregard what I've said.
I'm not sure how well the roof of a Miata would hold if it were to roll over, as well as the A pillars, but I do know that in my preferred roadster of choice, the S2000, it holds up really damn well.
edit: You could get padding on the roll cage if you decide to get it anyways. That would help suppress any possible head injuries.
