Dio may do it, but do you?
Many people think it's not wrong to go quickly at night, when the roads are empty. Since there are fewer people around you can go faster, isn't this logical? - they say. Well. I'm not convinced. There may be fewer pedestrians and cars, but the visibility is also much, much worse. Also, anybody you encounter is way more likely to be drunk and unpredictable in their behaviour than during the day.
Some countries also have separate speed limits for nighttime, Poland included. Betweeen 23:00 and 5:00 you're allowed to drive 10 kph faster within city limits. It's not much but it's a sign that the Polish government believes it's safe to increase your speed when the sun goes down.
Do you think it's safe to go faster at night than during the day? If so, how much quicker do you drive?

Around my area there are a lot of deer. So, I slow down a bit through the more wooded areas.

I tend not to. Possibility of drunks in town, and deer in the country. Plus, I'm usually a bit drowsy, which is no good.

Actually, a lot of people like driving at night because of the visibility. A pair of headlights peeking through the trees is a crystal clear warning that another car is coming.

I love going on random drives at night. The question is - do you think it's safer to go faster when it gets late?

I would say: in populated areas, no, and in non-populated areas, yes.

Every now and then just a little. It makes it easier to take corners faster when you can see headlights and all that. But having a deer pop out when you are going faster than normal is frightening

Actually, I always want to speed at night, like double the speed limit, but seeing as to how empty the roads are, I want to take advantage of the peaceful driving.
If I'm on the street, I'll definitely gun it through a yellow light.
