... And. It. Was. Awesome. Grand touring, manual transmission. It had a dumb little radio that sticks up out of the dash. TTouchscreen is a must.
22k and change.
Now I have to find a black one.

I have 2 things to say:
1. It looks amazing.
2. I'm glad they didn't make a Mazdaspeed version of this, and I am hoping that my gen2 ms3 is the last of the Mazdaspeed3's, because I am selfish.

You might get lucky on that. This almost seems too mature for a Mazdaspeed version. But iI would still like to see it.

The one we have (brown iTouring AT, no touchscreen for us) felt smaller to me than the outgoing car, especially in the back. The nose seems longer.
How was the touchscreen while on the move? There's been some concern with its lack of functionality above 5MPH, when it starts locking shit out,

The one on the lot didn't have the touchscreen. I just didn't like that the radio was in a little pod that sat on top of the dash. It doesn't have the functionality that I want, and looks impossible to switch out to aftermarket.
I was also short on time, just stopped by to check it out and sr20, so no test drive.
It might be smaller than the outgoing model, but it will be a step up from the Impreza 5-door we have now. Both in size, and fit/finish.
Now I have to deal with a self imposed waiting limit to stop an impulse buy. Damn you responsibility. *shakes fist*
