Pretty great video, if you were wondering how all the gears in a manual transmission work. Especially helpful for me was explaining how the synchros actually operate. Only thing I was missing from this video was to see how the shifter motion is translated into the shiftfork moving between each gear. It would have been helpful to show a shift from the opposite side of the transmission.
Little bit long, but enjoy anyway.

Awesome! My daughter was asking me why I had to "move that stick to drive" the other day. Now I can show her this instead of trying to tell her there are little gears in the transmission and her giving me a confused look.

I was hoping that remote was a mute he was going to start using for when he can clear his throat.
It's a great video. Looks like it's a school setting.

One take! (with the exception of the pauses to move the sliders by hand) Nice job.
I'll let the "This has been a demonstration of a rear wheel drive trans-axle " comment @23:02 slide.
Oh my, there goes the rest of my morning....

Very nice and instructive. I kinda knew the principles, but to actually see it in this manner makes it a lot clearer.
