No, I can't remember if it's the same one every time or not. I understand if the voltage distribution (or something) is uneven, the overpowered light will keep kicking the bucket. Help me, kind community.

I'm assuming Miata problem yeah?
Have you checked voltage at the offending socket? have you compared the voltage to the other socket? The relay might be failing as the youngest your car can be is 16. Maybe just say fuck it and switch to LED's and get the flasher module.

So you recomend the post but no reply? Seriously man what is your voltage and resistance at the sockets? there is your fucking issue go check your relay and your wiring and compare voltage and resistance of either side and then come back for more help if not just keep spending the $3 for bulbs. . . . This is the starting point of your problem so come back with some feedback and not just the equivalent of a stupid "like" button so you can get your shit fixed.

What is the #1 Miata fansite you mentioned? All I see is a post of OPPO titled "My NA has killed 3 tail lights in a month", with the author not informing us what model car or any other information. Who on earth would know what he was referring to? And besides, OPPO is a car enthusiast's fan site for all cars, not just Miatas.
