So I FINALLY have a good lead on a decent pair of Recaro mesh-heads at an insane price for my GTV6. They're even blue! The seller is stripping an '82 for LeMons.

He's in Cali and I'm trying to determine what the CHEAPEST method of delivery would be. Can anyone recommend a freight company, or any techniques for getting the cost down? We think a basic 4x4x4 palette would work.

Both seats are probably around 75 pounds.

Just straight up as shipping vendors for quotes. And then pick the cheapest. Awesome seats btw.

try contacting world wide express. We use them for large shipments and their rates are always great. Make sure its shipping from and to a business address to save $100 or so.

Holycow - $90. UPS wanted $225.

So how does it work? he just boxes 'em up and drops 'em off at the bus station, gives 'em a bag of peanuts and some spare batteries for the DS and says call when you get there?

Pretty much. I've never used it but know people that have. Drop it off at the depot, pick it up at the depot. As long as it fits in the compartment under the bus, that is.
