GF convicted me eat healthier, at least for a short period of time, and this drives me crazy. I need sugar and fat and gluten. I want a cheeseburger with extra bacon and chocolate sauce and wasabi mayo.
I know she is helping me, but my brain refuses to consider a huge cucumber and broccoli salad, with tofu, Greek yogurt, green onion, dill, mint and pine nuts, dinner.

You know all those vegetables and shit will kill you, right? I knew I guy who loved veggies, ate em with every meal. BOOOM died 8 years later in a car crash.

Focus on what you should eat veggies and stuff instead of saying to yourself I cant eat this etc. Weigh yourself every day. Also cooking at home helps. Although since I can whip up crem brulee whenever I feels it can get out of hand. These are my diet tips.
Also think of how much lighter and faster you and your car will be.

Here are some things to help you out:
Pakistani style chickpeas with a whole wheat tortilla is a filling and legitimately tasty low cal dish

Give up soda. Diet or otherwise. Just walk away. Find tea. Exception noted below.
Have a tall glass of water before dinner.
Boca burger with lettuce, tomato and a chipotle sauce is yummy
Hummus and pita chips. More filling than patatoe chips. Chick peas again.
Ground turkey has some great uses and takes on seasoning well. Less fat than beef.
Hot sauce/Sriracha is your friend. I use salsa instead of salad dressing.
Cherries are a good snack. They are good, good for you and take time to eat.
A whiskey and diet coke has less calories than beer.
It is ok to have a treat now and again in a moderate size.

I did something similar a while back. You just have to start with veggies you do like, and slowly expand to new things. Seems to be easier that way since you get used the veggie flavors. Also I wouldn't just drop meat or stay away from it, just use smaller portions in meals.
I used to over eat a lot and feel like crap after meal because of it. What I found to help is just to eat slower. That way you'll feel more satisfied at the end of the meal than by just shoveling it all down. This way you can eat less overall and not have to cut stuff totally out of your diet.

I recently cut out soda cold-turkey. I tried diet soda only for a while and it wasn't working. I haven't changed my diet otherwise but I feel better. All water, all the time, and I'm actually eating less. I tried a couple diets, low carb mostly. I couldn't take it, I love carbs. I'll figure out something else if I need to.

Doritos and guacamole isn't a good flavor combination even if you are trying to bulk up. I never liked Doritos with any kind of dip.
Seriously, soda will f you up. I saw a study (yeah I know studies can say whatever you pay them to say) that showed a direct correlation between the sales of soft drinks in the US over the last 100 years and the increase of our average weights. That's what got me to stop drinking it.

I don't feel bad after eating fast, it just accumulates on me, if I exaggerate with carbs and fats.

It's not only about soda, it's about portions getting bigger, and much of the physical hard work being done by machines now, and about working schedule being shorter, and people bring lazier.
