Now that the war against Syria that everyone feared President G.W. Bush would start is actually happening, what are some good defense contractor stocks to buy?

Gas masks maybe since Syria doesn't seem to be afraid of using their chemical weaponry?

I'm not buying any Defense contractor stocks mainly because I think the US will not get involved on a very large scale. If I did I'd probably buy Aliant Techsystems (NYSE: ATK). I believe they are one of the Governments main Ammunition suppliers as well as other systems.

But at $100 per share with only 32 million shares issued, if you can buy enough to matter you are already doing good enough.

Recommended the above post, but if anyone's taking it even half-seriously I read an article saying that Chinese models are actually more commonly used now.

I'm sorry what? War with Syria? For real? Sorry I've been out of current affairs for a few semesters.

There are unconfirmed reports of WMDs in Syria and the U.S. is planning military action. I think something similar has happened before.

War Profiteering? This is an inhumane, disgusting, and morally wrong business. With that being said, I like you For Sweden. I too want to see what stocks everyone comes up with. But yeah, someone mentioned about the US not playing a big role in this 'war.' Personally, I'd look at the stocks right now, wait, and see what the US is going to do in the next week or two . Best I could say is wait, and see how mobilization goes. If the US isn't willing to enter this conflict with a large military invasion, then I wouldn't buy.
I'm not all too familiar with defense stocks (I know the basic big players like Boeing and Northrop Grumman), but that's it.
TurboSloth is not an active investor on the market, and therefore know only the basics when it comes to investment. Take all advice with a grain of salt. Better yet, just don't take the advice.
