Its also been super hot and the air blowing out is super hot. Enough to heat up objects around the computer to very to points where they are uncomfortable to touch.

Have you blown out the fans/cooling fins/vents? First place to start. Second is to figured out of there's a fan that's dead. Let us know if its neither of those.
There's a possibility that you've cooked some components in the process, which is why you're system is freaking out.

With compressed air? Also, how do I find out in a fan is dead?

with the computer off, spin the fan gently with your finger. If it grinds then the bearings are shot and the fan is bad. If you use compressed air put something where the fan is to NOT let the fan spin -> the compressed air can cause your fan to spin too fast and break. Then blow out the dust.

Might want to reinstall these drivers and take dsigned001's suggestions. Sounds like some airflow might be blocked or a fan might be wonky. Try installing CoreTemp or a similar program to see how hot your CPU is getting.

I downloaded coretemp. I got this
Core #0 Min: 56c Max: 78c
Core #1 Min: 55c Max:79c
I'm sure this is bad, but how hot should it be getting?

Can you tell me which laptop you have? 100c is probably the "max temp" for your CPU, but if you run it at 80C all the time you will definitely have a problem before long.

All right, then my guesses were pretty accurate. I'd like to see you running below 70C unless you're running a long game session or something. Does it look like it's running closer to the max temp or the min temp when you're not doing anything super intensive?

That's not too bad. Do you see a pattern forming between your laptop heating up and it slowing down, or is it slow even in the 50-65C range?

Prolly not a driver or fan issue. Sounds like a process gone wild. Screen shot of task manager?

Not sure, but when more than a few things are going on, ie downloading a song + loading page, it will freeze for a few minutes before coming back. I'm not sure what the temps when that happens are though.

Well, it could be related or it might not be. If you opened resource monitor and got a screenshot when the slowdown happens we might be able to track it further. Also give it a Malwarebytes scan if you haven't scanned for malware recently.

I'm running a full scan right now. It doesnt help that it goes non-responsive every 5 mins or so.

MalwareBytes will do that. Let MB do its thing and then let us know what it results in. I saw from your reply to another person's comment that you do have a bit of adware (unless you willingly installed WebCake) so it might do some good to clean up a bit.

113 processes is way too much. Kill as many of them as you can.
mbam
chrome
webcakedes
coretemp
tcrdmain
toshibaserv
hp*ANYTHING
msascui
gentry
frmewrk
Then, click on start, run and type in msconfig. Under the Startup tab, uncheck anything that looks extraneous (I know its a judgment call and you may not have that kind of experience). You can post screen shots of the Startup tab and I'm sure we can help a little more.
Also, click on Start, Control Panel, Programs and Features. Screen shots of that would help too.

My company uses Toshiba Satellite laptops. They are champions on running weird... I've never seen such a bloated system as theirs.
The hardware is good, but the embedded and provided software is horrible.
We noticed that we got the best results by sticking to drivers directly from the manufacturers of the individual pieces, like Intel and Atheros and not downloading them from Toshiba Support themselves beacause they are not only heavy on the system, they are also very problematic and intrusive.
If you find "unknown" software running as processes or on startup, this might help: http://www.shouldiremoveit.com/
