These pictures have mysteriously disappeared off of the internet with all links now dead. For some reason I had the foresight to save them so here they are again, for your eyes only. Took place in the hills of Carmel, 1/499, and sheeeeee's a beaut.

Here is the link to all LaFerraris on Autogespot, with this picture set clearly not there: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Turns out that there IS some footage. Here's the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Forget the silly name, that is a proper monster of a car. I find it odd though that the front overhang is so long, it still looks good though. I can't wait until it gets properly tested and video reviews start getting released. That panel gap though...

The more I look at this car, the less I am liking it. There are a few styling choices that are just annoying to me. Still looks awesome.

Anyone else let down by the wheels?

What is it that annoys you about it?

Compared to the F12, California, and 458 launch (non-optional) wheels, I'd say these are quite all right. Especially considering there's already so much styling going on. I like their simplicity.

I like it, the design has grown on me.

A little actually. I'm in a dark wheel phase right now though.

Kind of, although they're probably very light. The McLaren F1 had boring wheels too.

I suppose, but they've grown to fit the car in a way. I remember thinking the same thing when it came out. But that was back when everyone was running skinny no-offset wheels in the front, and fatty deep dish wheels in the rear.

Already ? I thought Ferrari were still busy fine-tuning it ? Anyway, good for the lucky owner. Oh, and also : DAT. ASS.

The rear taillights and how they just kind of stick out from the rest of the car, the beam in the rear bumper. I don't like how the front is structured. Other than that, I love it.

Wow, Ferrari delivered the first LaFerrari before GM could manage to deliver even one C7 Corvette!

Ferrari wheels have been a let down for me on every model since the F40...

The photos were probably taken down from the internet because the photographer demanded it to, considering the watermarks were removed.

Here is the flickr page of said photographer, who has captured the first delivery and posted several photos on his page.

You might want to add that to your post.

When did you see it at autogespot?

YES. The F40 and Testarossa had the last best wheels. Then the 512TR came and it was all downhill from there.

And the modern-Ferrari yawnfest continues. So completely underwhelemed by everything about this car that isn't a number.

It popped up on my Facebook feed mid last week via Autogespot. I then saved the pictures and since I was away from good wifi, only posted them today after noticing that they weren't online anymore.

It's probably not destined for a customer, but at the time it was shot, it was destined to be shown to well-heeled Pebble Beach goers.

See, that's what I figured. Isn't this the LaFerrari that was 'discovered' in a barn around Pebble Beach? Either way, the photographer who posted the above pictures I suspect is the son of a well known Ferrari Collector. Perhaps you know more.

It is the "Barn discovery" car for sure. And I was pretty shocked at him getting in it, etc.., so being the wealthy son of a Ferraristi probably made it possible. You don't just happen upon someone unloading one of these babies.

Exactly. Looking through his Flickr account (pure carporn) it looks like he's regularly in the driver's seat of a Ferrari 16M and regularly in the passenger seat of an F50. So yeah. :D

"That panel gap" is no flaw. It is a design feature of past limited series specials...

Oddly enough the Enzo Ferrari does not feature the black line through the bodywork...
