I made an e30 like that in Fourza. I used it rather successfully in R2 class (helped that it only took 2.1 seconds to 60)

This is the best I can do. I haven't got a premium account, so it's not as precise with the timings. Pretty epic flames still.

On more than one occasion, I broke the engine up pretty bad (like 60% damage). still accelerated like a rocket, just didn't have the same top speed.
As I think about, i think i did with the E28 M5, but the M3 can actually have the same engine

Torque steer much?

Shouldn't be if the driveshafts are equal length. The reason most high-powered front-drivers torque-steer so much is because the gearbox is offset so one driveshaft is twice the length of the other.
Might just be such a monster of an engine that it does it anyway.
There's something that I read about the bonkers international rallycross cars (basically WRC cars turned up to 13). When they launch, the rotational force of their longitudinal engines pulls them off to the side. Pretty impressive stuff.

I assume you play with some assists on then?

with the exception of no manual (can't drive stick IRL either), i think i may have turned on abs. maybe not, its been a while

Ah, I drive with manual + clutch (just like IRL) and zero assists. With those settings, builds like that are almost completely impossible to control.

this wasn't far off from impossible. you mostly had to think it straight lines. it could get between the corners faster than anything it raced, so it was very much sprint, stop, turn, sprint again

It must have been AMAZINGLY fast to be able to keep up with LMP cars if you had to stop at every turn like that.

not to a dead stop mind you. wasn't the top speed so much as the insane acceleration. I'll log back into fourza soon and get the full stats for you

6.4 handling is pretty damn good for a road car, but still insane with that kind of power.
2.162 to 60 is kinda low with that power/weight though, I assume it's because you've got pretty tall low gears to avoid wheelspin?

yeah, even then though if I mash it it'll spin up through all of first gear.
I feel I should mention that it is AWD
