I don't know if ya'll remember my new lady friend. But I promised her a really nice surprise. Now I'm like searching what would be a good surprise. She has been all over the world and dinner and stuff would be boring. I need something good. She really likes puppies and babies, but I have no idea how to incorporate that. I live in Columbus, Ohio so that should give you a feel for what I have at hand. I want to keep it relatively cheap, but good (she's a keeper).

We're both college students, but we are both a bit eclectic in tastes.

Dave and Busters. Drinking + games + prizes = win. Otherwise you could always go spraypaint OSU sucks all over campus in Maize and Blue paint colors. That'd be cheap and memorable.

See I was thinking Dave and Busters and while I would love that. This is one of those things where it needs to be a bit more cultured.

Or perhaps there is there a farm nearby that has lots of baby animals you can play with, or an animal sanctuary you could visit. No better way to look good than helping injured baby animals.

Obviously I don't know what you guys have done before so stop me if it would be a repeat but....

Since she's traveled find out what her favorite place was (as far as food goes) by asking her friends. Make sure they know not to tell her your asking. Get an simple but interesting recipe from that area of the world and get all the ingredients and stuff to go along with it. You should also figure out what sort of wines she likes and get something that pairs well with what you're cooking. Call up her mom and find out what her favorite child hood movies were and then track down about three of them.

Don't make the dinner for her, make it with her and drink wine while making it. Then watch childhood movies with her.

In one fell swoop you score some points with her friends, major points with her mom, and giver her an awesome night. Bam.
