A couple years ago, I remember seeing a sweet new M3 pulling out onto the highway in front of me. It was on 20s with a drop. Once he got up to speed, I could see smoke, and it became clear very quickly it wasn't coming from the exhaust. I tried to catch up to him to warn him, but he was using his motor like it likes to be used...

A couple miles up the road, we saw him on the shoulder.

Awww. This happened to me once with my Probe GT racecar (yes, I had a Probe GT racecar, shuddap). I guess in my haste to replace the coilovers, I didn't do a good job torquing all the bolts. Lower control arm separated itself from the strut and the wheel came back into the well. Lesson learned.
