So it seems like just about everyone on here has bait of some kind or another, and since I'm still fairly new I can't keep track. So this can be a thread to keep the bait in check.
For me: the 5 cylinder (and really almost any older Audi)
.

You know, the past winter when I seriously planned on doing an engine swap into a Volvo 240 wagon with my dad, I actually looked into the N54. Needless to say I never even got as far as buying the Volvo, because let's be honest, engine swaps are stupid and a waste of time, money, and reliability (Even if they are awesome). It really is the ideal engine for trying to keep weight low while getting sufficient torque and power.

Did the commenting format just change before my eyes, or is my computer just bugging out?
Love Volvos, especially the wagons. My dad owns a 9000 Aero right now, so I'm kind of getting to know the Saabs now. He never stops preaching about the SPG, and I love it myself.
I saw this a while back, and thought it was about the coolest thing ever:

The top item on my bait list is any of the Audi Avants. After that would be the Audi A5/S5/RS 5 coupes and the R8. Aston Martins round out the list.
^^ That's the one that I drove when I won an Audi R8 for a weekend .

Clean, stock:
VWs (Microbus, Vanagon, Fox, Corrado, Scirocco, anything pre-1990)
BMWs (E36 M3s, E30 M3s, 507s, most things pre-1990)
Just about anything British...
I have too much bait, making it pretty impossible to tag me. The important part is the awesome E36 M3s, since that's my DD/project. Like this:
Also respond to Jusbait, $skaybait, 6cylbait, Jagvar bait, and Automatch bait. So much Automatch bait.

That van does look nice :-).
Living next to Sweden helps for the SAAB/Volvo part, except for that they have all been handed down to the kids who lowered them and put ugly rims on them, so there is no affordable somewhat original Volvo 240 left here in Norway.

Well, now I'm signing up for the R8 thing.
I kind of grew up around the Avants, thankfully. One of the more memorable cars my dad has was an S4 Avant, I think an '05 maybe (it has the V8)? It was so nice looking. Definitely one of the reasons I'm in love with wagons.

My first real exposure to Audi Avants is the C4 A6 Avant and, at that time, I fell in love with the interior more than the exterior. The turning point was seeing a B5 Avant and that started my want for one. When I was shopping for a B6 A4, there were no 3.0 Avants available and the wait would be 4-5 months to have one ordered to spec and shipped over. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to wait so I opted for the sedan.
Yep, the B6 S4 Avants had the 4.2-litre V8.
