If you saw a Gotta Have It Green Mustang GT coupe (no stripes) that was me.
Whats the story with that wrecked Grabber Blue 5.0?

Yep, I drove by there a few times. I'll get some dashcam footage up once I find my microSD adapter.

I live 7 miles from woodward... I left michigan to do something else haha, I can't stand the dream cruise anymore, it's has gotta be the most boring automotive event ever.

I hear ya, being a car guy from NYC, it was somthing to cross off on my automotive bucket list...
but I agree, I dont really go to car shows anymore for the same reason... seen one, seen them all...
I will say that MI as a state is beautiful, not what I expected at all... the roads outside of the D are great.... I stayed in Troy, and I gotta say it was definatly better than what the media makes the state of MI as a whole out to be...

That's awesome that you enjoyed your stay. I actually live in the city next door to Troy, Sterling Heights.
The dream cruise is officially only that weekend, but woodward is packed for 1-2 weeks prior to the actual cruise. So going any time before the cruise, it's basically the same thing.
Sometimes there are sweet things at the dream cruise, but since I've been going there for the last 10 years... I don't think I missed out on much. There were some Formula D drifters down at the grand central train station doing some awesome siding that day too, just a few miles over from the dream cruise.

on my way out i got off i75 and drove down 8 mile... being from the Bronx, NYC I figured it be no more dangerous than a normal day in the south bronx....
I got out to buy a pack of cigs at a gas station (6 bucks for a pack is awsome btw) and honestly, a few locals were like "yo that Camaro is cold mang, let me hold that for a second"... when i realized after comming out of the store the guy had a huge .45 in his waist band... i almost shit my pants...
being a life long New Yorker, and being a big white doofy guy, I feel safe walking around Harlem NYC at 3am because noone will bother you unless you bother them... but somthing about that scared the shit outta me... like i honestly got shaken up... the D is no joke...

Yeah, this is not to come off as bragging in any way, but that's Detroit for ya... I've had a few instances of that happening to myself. They'll approach you, they don't care. Concealed pistol license are skyrocketing in this area for that very reason.
