Kinja'd!!!

I run Rotella T6 with either K&N or Bosch filters.

What do you use? In what vehicle? What's your favorite non-human animal?

I like turtles!

This is what I used on my sbc 350 that was in my trans am: Castrol GTX high mileage with a Fram Ultra filter. I haven't gotten to the oil stage on my 400 yet.

I use a variety of different things.

For cars that don't have an OLM or maintenance minder, I use either Mobil 1 HM, GC, or Maxlife Synthetic, and go to 10k

If the car has an OLM, I just the cheapest synthetic on sale and run it to the OLM-suggested interval. (usually Napa Synthetic when it's on sale for $3.49, but sometimes Pep Boys or AAP has another syn for like $20 for 5 qt + filter). Napa Synthetic is rebranded Synpower.

My favorite oil filter is Purolator PureOne, the yellow filter with the textured grip. It sounds like a gimmick but it really does make a difference!

Haven't run my Landy enough recently to switch off Rotella 15w40 dino to something lighter, so Rotella and Napa Gold (Wix) for both it and the Benz.

Possibly gecko.

Currently Castrol full synthetic with a purolator filter? Whatever looks like a good deal at the time usually works for me. Go on the forums though and you will get beaten up via internet for using anything other than T6. This is in my 03 WRX.

As far as animals… I like dags

Royal Purple Synthetic(the normal stuff, though with the amount of oil i burn in the lude, maybe i should rethink since RP is relatively pricey....)

Mobil 1 filter

My favorite animal!! I thought youd never ask! Its a:

Amimalia Chordata Vertebrata Reptilia Squamata Serpentes Colubridae Colubrinae Boiga B. cynodon.

But its commonly known as a Dog-toothed cat snake.

Oil and filter: Genuine VW parts and genuine VW oil, or whatever it is the dealer puts in. I'm sure they're doing it correctly.

I don't generally do "favourites", but I did see a red panda at the zoo the other day that was very beautiful. Picture not mine, but you get the idea.

'06 Civic (non-Si), whatever is the cheap 5W20, and OEM Honda filters.

Definitely the platypus, because it is completely unique in the animal kingdom:

One of the few venomous mammals

One of only five known monotremes (mammals that lay eggs)

One of only two mammals to locate prey by electrolocation (detecting the electric fields of the muscle contractions in their prey)

Ten (!) sex chromosomes, instead of two like most mammals (i.e. XX or XY for human males and females), but no SRY gene that actually determines sex expression

Crazy.
