I just saw this great Petrolicious article about the Birdcage Maserati. I didn't know much about that car before the article, other than it was really small. And then I realized two things: one, I suspect that a lot of what went into the birdcage design was likely borrowed technology from bicycles (yay bike technology); and two, I needed to see and hear this thing in action. So here's 15 minutes of birdcage action at Spa where it has a lovely dice with what I think is a 250SWB, before it, um... er... breaks.

Notice that the steering wheel is centred with one spoke at 12 o'clock? I always think of a three-spoke wheel with a spoke centred at 6 o'clock.
