Rosetto is gone! I'm gonna miss seeing that name.
As a side note, god I have changed a lot in the past few years. I used to get into terribad online arguments with outliers like SKZ and Rosetto, and I actually miss their off the wall commentary.
Can't we like have a cage to keep our more colourful posters in? Pleassee?

What a weird word. For a second there I thought I misspelled it. (I will give these posters the benefit of the doubt as to not being all the same person, it's not like it can turn around and bite me in the ass later).

The three handed baker isn't hard to figure out. He was "I Hate American Cars". Then he was "Super Kiwi Zorro". Now he's Rosetto Vicava". He will re-appear with a new persona in approximately one to two weeks (assuming he doesn't actually return as SKZ in early September as promised) that will be from an English speaking country east of England. He will have a quirk or disability, like blindness or deafness. He will likely have a significant other that is often referenced, be it a husband or a son. He will display an interest in oddities. He will be unable to resist commenting on references to his old persona. He will gradually force his way into community acceptance, then push himself out of it, then make a public goodbye post as he removes himself from the community.
Then, he will be back.
It's not a complicated case. Humoring him only keeps the charade going longer.

Perhaps this persona is one of our beloved dare I say a... Matt Hardigree? I single him out, because he has the most to gain from such a persona. ;)

He has nothing to gain from that persona. It'd be a huge waste of time to keep up and he'd get nothing from it. In fact, by driving people away from his website, he'd actually lose out on that.

Here me out before you totally throw the idea out the door.
-Matt would gain page views=$$
-Matt would help keep posters in line knowing there is a force more powerful then them in the forum, and that it's generally a good idea to keep your head before posting.
Ok now here is how my crazy theory goes.
-Matt creates each of these avatars and follows the same cycle, numerous front page posts that shock and awe and drag more viewers to the site. When the shock and awe dies off, he introduces them to Oppo, a short while later, he kills of said avatar in a show of moderation force. Allowing legitimate users to realize that yes, there are higher powers and you should never knowingly post like said example avatar.
Other proofs
-Has Matt ever actually told us that these avatars have similar/the same ip addresses? Surely someone in his position could find out easily, unless he wanted to use said avatars to achieve other ends.
-Look at Victorius Secret, before IHAC etc, his online manners were virtually non-existent i.e. calling people thunder-cunts. Now after a few of these avatars have passed, we have a much more courteous VS who is a much more respected member of the community.

Sadly, I'd probably be the only one enjoying this post if I included some rosettobait into it.

He has no control over the moderating force. I, however, have significant control over the moderating force, and my guys have yet to ban a single Three Handed Baker character. All three have left on their own accord.
Also, nobody makes money from oppo page hits and front page hits are weighted heavily towards "uniques".

Interesting details you shared.
Assuming I am right, this means that Matt is clearly trying to avoid getting you involved/divulging his secret. It still shows the community what the not to do, and thus helps keep the community in check.
Also, there is a reason why he would follow this cycle, notice how these avatars only move over here once the initial shock and awe on the front page has worn off? If the avatar is no longer useful for generating page clicks (i.e. people start leaving the site because they are bored of the shenanigans), then it's time to shift them into phase 2.
Also, "uniques" will regularly visit a site without registering just to read comments. Imagine how many fewer hits Jalopnik would get if there wasn't a commenting feature.

Okay, you're joking, right?
Sarcasm doesn't transfer over the internet very well so I'm unsure...

You're pretty quick, I'm just brainstorming for shits n giggles, any idea is a good enough idea to post, and I am throwing it all at you.
I couldn't care less who is behind this. I just thought it would be fun to add my own spin to the theory.
You know what would be hilarious though? If I could SR20 to reveal that, I am also Matt. bahahaha
