He bought himself a "top of the line" 2010 VW CC with the awd system and the 6 cyl. I am disappointed, I wanted him to buy a challenger. Well, whatever he got had to be better than his Trailblazer.

The CC is not a stretched Jetta (if I understand your sentence). It's built on the B6 Passat chassis. I've got a 2013 model (not top of the line) and have been pretty pleased with it. I had a 2007 Passat B6 chassis wagon and remembered how much I liked the two liter turbo...

We looked at an 09 version with awd and the v6...my wife wanted it but I didn't want a payment when we already had our Dart. Was an awesome car tho.

De nada. With the V6 I bet it's pretty darn nice...mine's a company car and I've put 8200 miles on it in three months. Really eats up long trips...
